In The Morning : Cu Chi Tunnels 8.30 am. Depart from your hotel or our office to Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh city tour 1 day. Firstly, excursion Cu Chi Tunnels; an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americansand home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years. Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Have lunch at the restaurant, then we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 14.00pm. In The Afternoon: Visit Ho Chi Minh City Secondly, Notre Dame Cathedral : Located in the heart of the city and it was built by the French in the late 1877s. Notre Dame is not just a the oldest Christian church of Vietnam but also a unique and excellent architecture of Saigon. Thirdly, General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station. Fourthly, you'll then be driven to visit The Reunification Palace, used to be residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. In 30 April 1975, the when North Vietnam soldier set foot inside this building with red flag on hand, the whole world knew that Vietnam war was end. Fifthly, then you’ll have approximately two hour to visit Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every concievable commodity and a visit to lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product. In the morning, our guide and driver will pick up you by private car and transfer to Ben Tre. After 2 hours driving from HCM city, you will arrive AN HÓA bridge, Ben Tre province. Walk to the workshop to see how the local people peeling-spliting-paring coconut by traditional ways. Then take the boat to visit a local factory to see many kilns to make activated charcoal from coconut hard-shell. Crossing Mekong river, called Cửa Đại & Cửa Tiểu, 30km far from the Eastern Sea, we arrive Tam Hiêp Island. Next, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time. Come to the local family to enjoy some kinds of fruits, honey-tea. Walking / Biking on small village paths through huge orchards to arrive special farm where they are planting the creepers (called LÁ SÂM). We pick up some leaves for making & tasting this special herbal jelly. Biking/walking to h****ave the best lunch at Ut Trinh’s home. After lunch, we back to our boat to come to visit Long Thạnh Communial House. This the national architectural heritage before coming back our car. Drive to Can Tho. Have dinner at local restaurant Overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.
About 05.30 AM: In the very early morning, our guide will accompany you to depart for Cai Rang floating market where locals go to buy and sell a variety of fruits vegetables from boats of all sizes and which is the most original ones and bustling places of the region. If you have experienced many exciting days when traveling to Vietnam, surely you will get out of bed early one day to witness this lovely local market to fulfill your Vietnam Holiday. The boat trip will give you valuable chance to observe the unique "advertisement" of local business - "Cây Bẹo": Sellers tie their goods to a tall pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling. The seat on the local trading boat, witness boasting activities in the market, find out local life in stilt house along the river. After the trip, we will get back to the hotel for breakfast and relax. Then do the check-out and come back to Ho Chi Minh city by car. On your way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Mui Ne town. The scenic 200km journey passes through the bustling cities and dense rubber plantations. The terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit plants when we get closer to PhanThiet and Mui Ne. After checking in at the resort you can relax by the pool or wander onto the beach. Overnight in Mui Ne.
